Regulation of the newspaper industry - The Independant Press Standard Organisation's editor's code of practice

As a direct result of the fallout from the Levenson enquirery, the Independant Press Standard Organisation was formed to replace the former Press Complaints Commision. IPSO provides a framework of rules and regulations for newspapers to follow, "enshrined in the contractual agreement between IPSO and newspaper, magazine and electronic news publishers".
