When?
Your exam is on Wednesday 29th June at 0900. However, please check your timetables to make sure this is actually correct.
Where?
Probably in the main hall/sports hall (near the gym!), but you may have different arrangements. Again, please check your exam timetable.
Who
You...
Why?
The mock exam will allow you to prepare and practice for a real exam, and it will help teachers to write your UCAS personal statement and come up with a predicted grade
What?
This is the actual exam paper. The whole paper! The specific wording has been redacted, but it will give you an indication of what you'll be getting in the exam on the 29th. Answers will be written in to separate answer books
This might seem like a huge advantage but the only thing you can get out of this is what you've been told already. But hopefully seeing the exam paper will remind you that this is serious business! |
You will be prepared for the mock exam in the week beforehand. However you cannot take notes in to the exam with you. Or even a watch! Life sucks.
Lesson 1 - unseen music video screening and analysis. The music video will be the same for every class, and it's going to be Bad Habits by Ed Sheeran. Click here for some student suggestions for how to answer this question!
Lesson 2 - Woman magazine analysis and discussion of representation. We'll also go over structure a bit more in this lesson
Lesson 3 - Key term flashcard making and example finding
In this week, you'll also be putting your revision on colourful posters that we can stick on the walls in preparation for the upcoming open evening!
