Both years
The final week of this half term is a short week. So, on the week starting October 15th you will probably only have one lesson (unless you are P block)
However, we are looking for students to volunteer for open evening. If this sounds like something you would like to do, please check out this post here.
First year
Your first mini mock is this week, and will be held on your second lesson of the week. Luckily for you, we've posted the question, so you can start to prepare. You can find it right here.
You also have your very first key assessment coming up. We're holding it slightly early, on your last lesson this half term. This means:
First year key assessment one:
P block - Monday 15th October - 09:00
T block - Monday 15th October - 13:05
R block - Tuesday 16th October 10:50
The question for the first year mini mock will be published on the morning of Monday 8th October. You will only be assessed on what we've covered in class so far, naturally.
Second year
The big deadline for you lot is of course the magazine and aims & intentions submission. The final deadline for this is:
Component three submission date
S block - Friday 12th October - 10:30
U block - Friday 12th October - 13:55
Q block - Thursday 11th October - 13:55
The week after is a short week, and you will only have one lesson. So, you can relax a bit and watch the first episode of Humans, which is your first case study for the TV unit.
