I, Daniel Blake - research tasks

Brief

  • In small groups, you will be assigned a particular area of the film industry that you will have to extensively research over the next two lessons – forming a presentation in your final lesson. 
  • This will be directly related to our second case study – I, Daniel Blake. 
  • Your presentation will be delivered in the form of a Powerpoint presentation.

Success criteria


Independent research 


  • You will be assessed on your ability to respond to a unusual and novel research task.
  • You will be assessed on how you respond under (mild!) pressure 

Presentation


  • You will be assessed on your presentation skills, and how clearly you present information to the target audience (1st year Media students!)

Swapsies


  • If you are able to arrange it with another group, you can swap topics. 
  • No, you can't swap team members!
